Asthma awareness is essential as Asthma is a life-threatening condition that needs to be treated correctly as soon as the attack begins.

The condition of Asthma affects more than 300 million people worldwide including 11.6% of children aged 6 to 7 years. In the UK, over 8 million people, or approximately 12% of the population, have been diagnosed with asthma according to Asthma facts.org

Good management of Asthma can help prevent Asthma attacks from happening.

Syllabus:

• Overview of asthma and its diagnosis.
• Control and monitoring.
• Managing asthma.
• Acute asthma (managing asthma attacks).
• Supporting self-management.

Course length: 1.5 hrs.

Qualification: Asthma Certificate.

Cost: £40 per person + VAT on open courses.
