Security trainingSecurity Training

Security training is required under the Private Security Act 2001, all individuals wishing to work in the private security industry must hold a recognised qualification before applying for a licence.

Individuals working in the private security industry must undergo a structured SIA programme, resulting in one of the recognised SIA qualifications. Applicants who do not hold a qualification endorsed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) may have their licence application refused.

We offer the door supervisors course, security guards course and the new top up courses for both of these qualifications.

  • The Top Up Door Supervisor training course is 2 Days.
  • The Top Up Security Officer training course is 1 Days.

All Door Supervision and Security Guard licence holders will need a first aid qualification and the new top-up course before they renew their licence.

Courses are held on a regular basis in our training centre in Lincoln. We can also run in house courses at your place of work subject to a venue assessment required by the SIA.
