Emergency First Aid
RQF Emergency First Aid at Work Course 
This RQF accredited level 3 course in emergency first aid at work, gives candidates the knowledge and ability to deal with emergency first aid situations.
An employer needs to make an assessment of their first aid needs to establish what provision for first aid is required in the workplace.
If first aiders are needed in your workplace, the employer must ensure they are trained by a competent company. This first aid at work course satisfies the criteria set by HSE in terms of competence.
Course Syllabus:
- Role of the first aider.
- Risk of infection.
- Consent.
- Accident reporting.
- First aid equipment.
- Primary assessment of casualty.
- Recovery position.
- Seizures.
- CPR.
- AED.
- Choking.
- Bleeding.
- Shock.
- Small wounds.
- Splinters.
Course length: 6 hrs, over 1 day
Qualification achieved: TQUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
UKAS points: This course is worth 8 UCAS points
Cost: £60 per person + VAT on open courses.
£60 per person + VAT (min charge of £360 + VAT) for in-house courses.
