RQF Emergency First Aid at Work + Sport module Course

This RQF accredited level 3 course in emergency first aid at work, gives candidates the knowledge and ability to deal with emergency first aid situations. The bolt on sports module has been endorsed by TQUK (Awarding body)

We have developed the course in conjunction with our awarding body to ensure that the sports module has been endorsed by them. This gives the learner the piece of mind that the course satisfies quality criteria expected by an awarding body.

This first aid at work course also satisfies the criteria set by HSE in terms of competence. As such it can be used by the student in all forms of other work that they may be engaged with.

Course Syllabus:

• Role of the first aider.
• Risk of infection.
• Consent.
• Accident reporting.
• First aid equipment.
• Primary assessment of casualty.
• Recovery position.
• Seizures.
• CPR.
• AED.
• Choking.
• Bleeding.
• Shock.
• Small wounds.
• Splinters.

Sports module:

• Fractures
• Dislocations
• Soft tissue injuries
• Drowning CPR protocols

Course length: 7 hrs, over 1 day

Qualification achieved: TQUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) + Endorsed TQUK sports module.

Recognition: UKA Category B 1st aid course. UKAS points – 8

Cost: £60 per person + VAT on open courses.

£60 per person + VAT (min charge of £360 + VAT) for in-house courses.
