At Singletons we take a realistic view of the current pandemic and have implemented some new measures to help keep our students safe whilst allowing training courses to go ahead.

For the time being we have implemented the following measures:

  • All our staff have received Covid-19 training.
  • We have reduced the maximum numbers of students on each course to allow for distancing.
  • Track & trace is in operation for Singleton venues.
  • Students will not be permitted in the building if they feel unwell.
  • Personal temperature checking is in operation for Singleton venues.
  • Alcohol gel is available in all areas of our training centres.
  • Students are required to wash their hands before entering training rooms.
  • Deep cleaning and disinfection occurs after every course.
  • The training rooms are disinfected with Ozone gas on a regular basis.
  • The main training room has an air disinfection system in place.
  • All training rooms in Lincoln have air flow systems installed.
  • We have changed light switches with automatic PIR systems in the toilets and kitchen to minimise touching common surfaces.
  • We have introduced a number of new measures on 1st aid training¬† to make the courses safer, this has been done in line with the 1st aid lead bodies.
  • 1st aid manikins are cleaned between uses with 70% alcohol wipes.
  • Bandages and slings used on 1st aid training courses are individually wrapped and only used by the student (single use).
  • We have Covid-19 lateral flow testing in place for trainers.
  • All coffee cups and spoons are washed at 70C using a dishwasher.
  • Covid-19 risk assessments are in place.
