Oxygen Therapy
This course is designed to give an understanding of oxygen when used as a medical therapy rather than in a first aid situation
The course covers the assembly of oxygen giving equipment and the situations in which oxygen may be given. Complications and restrictions to the giving of oxygen are also discussed to give the student a thorough understanding of the whole process.

Course Syllabus
- To give students a greater understanding of oxygen therapy.
- Understand when oxygen is contraindicated.
- Teach students about the different illnesses and diseases that could require oxygen therapy.
- The use of bag/valve and mask.
- The use of OPA (Oral Pharyngeal Airways).
- The use of an aspirator.
- Cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Cost: £35 per person + VAT on open courses £35 per person (min charge of £280) + VAT for in-house courses
