There is now a new British Standard 1st aid box contents list. The original HSE list has been updated as shown below:

• Increased number of plasters
• Alcohol wipes
• Adhesive tape
• 6 pairs of nitrile gloves (all Latex is to be prohibited)
• Resuscitation face shield
• Small finger sized sterile dressing
• Foil blanket
• Hydrogel burn dressing
• Shears (for clothing)
• Conforming bandage
